Sarah Aziza is an Arab American writer based in New York City. She has lived and worked in Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Jordan, South Africa, and the West Bank, in addition to the United States. Her work encompasses both journalism and creative arts, and explores issues including transnational identity, refugees and migration, gender and women’s issues, languages and translation, and social justice. Her works have been featured in The New York Times, Harper's Magazine, NPR, The Baffler, The Washington Post, The New Yorker, The Atlantic, Lux Magazine, The Rumpus, The Intercept, and The Nation, among others.
